| My dad, Donald Ray Masters, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on May 4, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Shirlee, daughter Marla, and grandson Clayton Donald Masters. We love him and miss him more than words could ever convey, but we rejoice that he is home and at rest. He graduated from Bellflower High in 1955. Some of his most fond memories were of his high school days. He was 69 years old when he passed away. Sincerely, Marla Masters (daughter) |

| Cecilia Miller
This is the hardest letter I have ever had to write. I wanted you to know that I lost Cecilia on Tuesday, March 15th, 2005. She passed away peacefully with no pain and I was by her side. She was actually in the hospital at the time for another procedure, when she experienced an pulminary embolism that caused her to go to sleep and the doctors were there to try to help to no avail. Right now with my emotions, words are hard to share, but I wanted you to know. From Jerry Miller via Dottie Rayhawk |

| Garrah Snelson My brother was born October 24, 1942. He died on August 13, 1995, on a Sunday, as I recall. Without warning, he died of a massive heart attack that took his life almost instantly. Another few weeks, and he would have turned 53. He was cremated. His lifelong friend, Denny Hummer, took my brother's wife, Roni, one of his two sons, some cousins me out on his boat to the "horseshoe " kelp beds. My brother liked to fish and this had been a good spot for him. Roni scattered his ashes there. She died two years later of cancer. Their oldest son, Jim, moved to Kentucky, and the other son, Chad, lives in Mission Viejo. I graduated in the class of 1970 and my sister, Marion, graduated in the Class of 1967, as I recall. He was pilot of a Mohawk reconaissance plane on a night military mission when his aircraft was hit by hostile weapons fire and he was forced to eject from the aircraft, according to Army reports. While Peterson was being recovered by a rescue helicopter by means of a winch and cable, he apparently lost consciousness and fell from the lift apparatus to the ground. His widow is the former Kathleen Blackmore (Class of 1964). |

Los Angeles, Calif.: May 8, 1991. pg. 3 Full Text (131 words) (Copyright, The Times Mirror Company; Los Angeles Times 1991all Rights reserved) A Bellflower motorcyclist injured in a head-on collision in northern Ventura County on Sunday has died of his injuries, a Ventura County coroner's spokesman said.
